Who can we Trust
April 30, 2020
Who can we trust? In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic this is an increasingly critical question. Media? Government? Medical experts or dependable friends. This important question has a big impact on how we behave and perceive our future — especially in healthcare.
The answer is driven in large part by the perceived “lack of trust” that many of us have been feeling. Do you ever wonder if trust can be re-established and, if so, how? Do you wonder what your patients are thinking and who they trust?
The world had been changing even before COVID-19 took the headlines. Although we still need to trust governments and big business, the increasingly powerful “trusted friend” is now watching and holding them accountable. We recognize the importance of listening to patients, understanding where they go for information, who they trust, how trust is gained or lost and more.
Legacy Health Strategies is driven by improving outcomes for patients…and much of that is based upon trust. Our team really understands your patients, and helps integrate that patient voice into everything you do. One of our care managers recently heard this from an elderly patient whose vital heart procedure was postponed because of COVID-19:
“You are the only person who is taking my calls right now. You have no idea how grateful I am to have someone to talk to.”
If any of this resonates with you, please reach out. It would be a privilege to share our patient experience insights and earn your trust.
